AG, Alberto Gonzales – Attorney General - At least he held his mud! Y que?

Over the last few years there is very little that has not been written about the newly resigned first ever Latino AG whose initials as much as anything else, prepared him for the nation’s top law enforcement job. For someone who more than shied away from the tagline of being a Latino or Hispanic first he did demonstrate far more loyalty (a truly Latino trait) than say Michael Vick’s long time friends and family who sold him out the first chance they got. GW long ago learned unmatched Latino friend and brand loyalty!
AG will not go down as a great Latino star but will be credited with taking more than one for the team. It is with surprise we write about the guy who could have taken GW down demonstrating loyalty and guts during prime time interrogations.
One more first on AG – At Harvard Law their was one known instance where AG chose to join a Latino/Hispanic event. It was the Latino Moot Court, rumored to be easier than the regular one. He underimpressed fellow law school mates there when he came upon the name Guzman (Goozmahn) and pronounced it “Guhzmuhn”. Adios Gonzales! Te seguiran Buch y Sheynee.
Set me straight. Unless Alberto Gonzales is ashamed of his parents and his upbringing, why would he - a Latino son - announce to a national audience: “Even my worst days as Attorney General have been better than my father’s best days.”? As a father (and a son) I find his self-serving remarks to be offensive and hurtful.
