OBAMA SNUBS CHAVEZ GRANDCHILDREN ENDORSEMENT

Los Angeles, Ca.,_ While everyone is sorting their spin and their delegate counts today the Obama campaign is still reeling from the 33%-66% Latino vote in Clinton’s favor. LEL learned this week that Obama’s campaign blew a wide open shot last week. We understand that 16 adult grandchildren of Cesar Chavez were ready to support him in California and elsewhere. Discussions were held on how to make the announcement – with Obama and Teddy Kennedy at a rally in East L.A. or downtown?
According to our sources the Chavez grandchildren felt strongly about their support of Obama. They believed strongly enough to publicly differ with their grandfather’s union (UFW), their uncle Richard Chavez, Dolores Huerta and others. They thought that Obama can appeal to Latinos and they would serve as reminders of where their grandfather always stood in challenging and exciting times – WITH THE UNDERDOG!
We will never know why this did not fly, we are guessing it wasn’t the candidate but his staff, but what we do know is that Cesar L. Chavez (Cesar’s grandson) and Robert Kennedy Jr. (Roberts Son) helped Clinton win the California Latino vote 66% – 33%.
I am hispanic and I am so upset that he would not take the endorsment from the dominate latino family in California. This could have possbly made the outcome so different
How do you know “he would not take the endorsement”? To me it sounds like they were planning to announce the endorsement — even talking about a rally to announce it — and then something happened and it fell through. So what happened? It sounds like there’s more to this story, a big missing piece, in fact. Let’s find out the rest of the story before passing judgment.
Indeed, I have written the editors a letter asking for their source(s). Sounds patently fishy. Look at the “states won” count at the top of the page. Also incorrect and we’ve known that for 24 hours. If I do not receive a satisfactory answer, I will follow-up on discovery issues. This is really sketchy. Please also ask for all the information. I don’t understand why people believe everything they read on any website. The headline has been rearranged since I visited several hours ago.
Good catch, bmc. This is obviously a clinton rumor-running front.
**EDITORS NOTE** We the editors at LEL are not a front for or in no way affiliated with the Clinton campaign. In fact if you look at our stories we strongly support Obama and his message of change. We have since we started the site belived that Hillary was too strong a candidate for anyone to beat her. We are hoping we are wrong. As for the post, our information is indeed very true and extremely accurate. We posted it because we don’t understand why Obama didn’t jump on that HUGE endorsement. We don’t blame Obama, we still love him, but we do want to call attention to his camp and figure out what went wrong.
THANKS AND KEEP READING!
What do you is the reason why he snubs the endoresment?
