Messi Out 6 Weeks
The phrase “Messi will be out…” is one that seems to be brought up once a year and every time it is just as hard to hear as the last time. During yesterday’s match against the over matched Scottish side Celtic Lionel Messi once again injured his left leg. The same leg he injured December 15 against Valencia and for the third time in the last three years. The muscle strain will keep him out this time for up to 6 weeks which will cancel his chances of playing in the Champions League quarter-finals and may keep him out of the semi’s as well. We here at LEL hope Lionel the best for a quick and full recovery before he gets back on the pitch. The most obvious possible replacement for the Argentine would be French striker Thierry Henry, however Barca is also fortunate enough to have Mexican teenager Giovanni Dos Santos. If Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard were to give the 18 year old “La perla Mexicana” a chance, we here at losestadoslatinos.com are sure he will shine.
