Pacquio wins by Split Decision!

A great fight comes to an exciting finish and it goes to the judges. The knock down in the 3rd round may win the fight for Pacquio. Judge 1 115-112to Marquez; Judge 2 115-112 to Pacquiao; Judge 3 114-113 to Manny Pacquiao.

Also will include commentary and results from the under card events. The under cards start at 6 and this will be up an running all night.

Get ready for the last round. It should be an exciting finish. Marquez needs at least one knock down and maybe a knock out to win this fight. Pacquiao taking some punches but seems ok. Pac-Man comes after him but doesn’t do too much damage. Nice upper-cut straight right combo for Marquez. The early knockdown seems to be hanging over Marquez’ head. He rocks Pac-Man twice in the corner. 30 seconds left. It’s coming down to the wire. Marquez continues to bleed. 20 to go. 10 seconds. Hard right from Marquez Pac-Man counters nicely and seems to have won the fight even though Marquez wins the round.

Round 11 Marquez 10 Pacquiao 9

Juan Manuel’s eye looks really bad in the corner. Marquez comes out punching. Marquez needs these two round to have a chance at a decision. Pacquiao swinging for the fences. Marquez receives a warning for a low blow. Nice right from marquez, followed by a nice combo. Quick right from Pac-Man. Another nice combo from Marquez. Hard left hook by Marquez with 20 to go in the round. Nice flurry to end the round from both fighters.

Round 10 Marquez 9 Pacquiao 10

Pacquiao ahead on points. Pac-Man stuns Marquez, Pacquiao unable to finish him off. Marquez needs to step it up in these last few rounds. Marquez eye continues to bleed. Hard left from Pac-Man. The ring side doc may want to stop the fight on account of Marquez’ eye. Pacquiao seems to have some swelling under his right eye and he lost his mouth piece.

Round 9 Marquez 9 Pacquiao 10

Four rounds to go. Pacquiao needs to overcome the cut it seems to be bothering him. The two fighters start the round dancing with Pac-Man taking the initiative in the round and landed two hard shots to Marquez. Pacquiao’s eye seems to have stopped bleeding. Marquez lands a hard right and Pacquiao comes back with a harder left. The fighters are swinging more and more. This fight just gets more exciting with each second and each swing. Pacquiao is looking better in this round. Break in the action to stop Marquez’ bleeding, the cut is opened up bigger.

Hard right from Marquez seems to have hurt Pacuqio’s right eye, it will effect his vision. Pac-Mnan wincing. Marquez coming at him hard and Pacquiao is taunting Marquez. Nice combo from marquez, Pacquiao battles back. Marquez with a nice flurry in the corner. Marquez continues to work Pac-Man’s eye with jabs. Two more to the eye that rattles Pacquiao. Nice exchange with Pacquio having trouble landing on target. The cut man tries to fix the cut in the corner.

Round 7 Marquez 9 Pacquiao 10

Hard left from Marquez to start the round. Marquez misses a huge right. The fight has slowed to Marquz’ style. Head butt causes a cut above Marquez right eye. The blood shouldn’t get in his eye. Both landing hard hits. Pac-Man seems to be winning the exchanges. Nice exchange to end another exciting round. Pacuiao has a cut on his right eyelid.

Round 6 Marquez 10 Pacquiao 9

Pac-Man slight cut over his right eye. Nice two pucnh combo from Pac-Man. Marquez with a body shot. Hard right from Marquez followed by two more. Pacquiao looks stronger but Marquez is out boxing him. Hard left to the body by Pacquiao. Round still up in the air. Nice body shot from Marquez. Two straight rights for Marquez to win the round.

Round 5 Marquez 10 Pacquiao 9

So far it has been a very exciting fight, which is a borderline war. Both fighters came to fight, not box. Marquez dancing around now looking for his spots, Pacquiao looking for more punching. Nice flurry with Marquez winning the scuffle. The crowed chants for “Manny” followed by a nice right from Pacquiao. Marquez counters with a right of his own. 30 seconds left. Nice right from Marquez.

Both fighters swinging all out to start the round. Pac-Man just misses stepping into a hard shot. I can’t look away from the screen for fear of something exciting. Hard two punch combo from Pac-Man Marquez with a nice counter. Pac-Man making Marquez fight more then he would like to. Hard left from Marquez. Another one to Pac-Man.

Round 3 Marquez 8 Pacquiao 10

Both guys coming out hard, Marquez lands the first good punch of the round. Pacquiao is battling back. Another nice straight right from Marquez to daze Pac-Man. Marquez is out boxing Pac-Man dancing in to punch and out in defense. Marquez throwing more body punches not doing to much damage. A couple more nice exchanges. Hard Left from Pac-Man and another that knocks down Marquez. Nice flurry from Pac-Man to end the round with Marquez being saved by the round.

Round 2 Marquez 10 Pacquiao 9

Round 2 is on. Pacquiao coming out more aggressive of the two. Crowd chants Si Se Puede as Marquez rocks Pacquiao with a hard right. Another hard right from Marquez. Pac-Man still being more aggressive and lands a hard left. Nice hard combo from Marquez to end the 2 round that stood up Pac-Man.

The National Anthems are over and now the fighters are coming to the ring. Manny Pacquio is coming out first. Juan Manuel Marquez coming out last to Mariachi’s. And we are on. Powerful right from Pacquio. Both fighters doing the normal opening round dance. Marquez being cautious trying to avoid a similar first round to the first fight. Marquez Lands a nice right. Nice exchange by both fighters, Pacquio to the head Marquez to the body. Ten seconds left. Scored 10-10.

Steven Luevano Wins by Decision!

Steven Luevano a Mexican fighter from Los Angeles takes on Terdsak Jandaeng from Thailand. Jandaeng showing his impressive speed landing many solid punches, however they lack power. Luevano wins with the hardest landed punch. Good exchanges here in the second round as the two fighters get accustomed to each other. Exciting start to the fight, lots of punches thrown not too much contact. Jandaeng lands his first hard right of the fight and knocks Luevano down, winning the round. What initially looked like a slip at the end of the round, now looks like a forearm to the head. Luevano coming out swinging in the 5th round. Nice flurry from Luevano as he keeps moving around the ring not giving Jandaeng a stationary target to hit. Both fighters look strong in the 8th round Low blow by Jandaeng (warning only no point deducted). Luevano gets 5 minutes to recover, fight on. Three big swings by Jandaeng with no major contact to report. Another hard left from Jandaeng. Low blow from Luevano but the Ref missed it and Jandaeng gets no rest. The fighters seem to be tiring, until Jandaeng lands another hard blow and dazes Luevano. 3 mintues left it’s the last round Jandaeng needs to make some more noise. Warning to Jandaeng for use of the forearm. Two hard shots from Jandaeng and another, another good shot and he may get the knock out. Half a minute left. In another fight that pits Mexican’s against Filipino’s Abner Mares vs. Diosdado Gabi. Mares rockes Gabi wih a hard right,he’s all over him. Changing the tide of the first round. In the opening exchange of the second round Gabi goes down. Mares stays all over him, and down he goes again. Gabi wanted to keep going but the fight is called at the 2:11 mark in the second round. Mares wins by TKO and calls out Marquez as they make the announcement.

David Diaz Wins

First up it’s David Diaz, the possible next opponent for Manny Pacquio, against Ramon Montano. Fighters still feeling each other out now, but some decent exchanges. Warning in the 3rd round to Montano for head butt. Diaz seems to have slowly taken control of this fight. Montano is fighting hard, has taken a lot of big shots and keeps on coming, but he just doesn’t seem to have enough to beat Diaz yet. Montano is throwing a lot of punches in the 6th but doesn’t seem to have any power left. Diaz is still landing better and more powerful punches. Diaz is winning this fight with his uppercut Montano can’t seem to stop it. Diaz continues to land good hard shots searching for a knockout sho. Montano ’s mouthpiece was knocked out with a minute left, nice move by the ref to tear a piece of loose tape from Montano’s glove. David Diaz showed plenty of talent to challenge Manny Pacquio in his next fight. Montana needs to hit the gym and get into better shape. Having that first judge would help in his next fight.
