President Bush Addresses US Hispanic Chamber
Washington, DC.,_ Last week President Bush addressed the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce legislative conference. Absent was any talk of his lame duck status since this was an event all about economics.
After receiving a warm welcome from chamber chairman David Lizarraga, Mr. Bush spoke to the gathering about the need for a free trade agreement with Colombia who he hailed as a standout partner in fighting drugs, crime and terror. He called on congress to support the measure as a way of showing concern about the economy. The president went on to thank Hispanics for being trend setters in business and American dream realization.
