Washington, DC.,_ The people who brought out Willie Horton to menace Michael Dukakis are at it again! They previewed their new hit against Barack Obama on the same day Obama said he was reinforcing his defenses to not be swift boated in the fall. Coincidentally LosEstadosLatinos.com ran a piece yesterday suggesting that in Obama’s case he needed to add a line of defense in order not to be williehorton’d as well. Latinos and all voters need to send a message of our own to John McCain, who will say he has no control over them, to put a stop to the race baiting of his party’s right wingers or face a backlash from Americans tired of plain old bulls**t racism and misleading advertising. The buck stops with McCain so the pressure needs to be applied in his direction.
I can’t believe that this ad could change people’s votes. Being tough on crime and wanting to put people to death aren’t the same thing.
