Dem race will be over when its over

Raleigh, North Carolina,_Yogi Berra would in some ways be very proud of Hillary Clinton who has taken his “the game ain’t over til its over” to this year’s national presidential past time audience.

She does so today at the peril of her own party. Now there are many who will tell you that this toughens up the opponent but guaranteed if the shoe and the crown were on the other foot she would be screaming and demanding that party elders and leaders step in to oust the upstart campaign.

So it’s clear that the Dems give the Clintons Queen’s and King’s X. If the positions were reversed Hillary surrogates would be denouncing the futile acts as non productive and potentially damaging to the party’s first woman nominee.

There is something bold about staying in but at this point she is staying in denial and hoping for a late round KO that is unlikely to surface. Barack is on a great peekaboo stance at this point and is holding onto a lead that is gradually increasing with both hands and the “other foot”.

Obama is doing his due diligence by acknowledging the primary electorate, to his benefit, was far more liberal than the national one that will vote in November. He needs to retool his rhetoric, bio and style so he can appeal to white working class and Latino voters, all of whom he had great difficulty communicating with earlier, though his strategy was to appeal to the upper crust liberal college educated wing of his party along with the party’s powerful and loyal black base vote. Now he has to concentrate on the same meat (pot roast) and potato issues that he grew up on while being raised in a single mother of moderate means.
