De La Hoya v Forbes Saturday night
For those of you who haven’t heard Oscar De La Hoya will fight Steve Forbes tomorrow night at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. The Golden Boy returns to southern California for the first time since he lost to Sugar Shane Mosley in 2000.
This is the first in a series of three fights this year which will end De La Hoya’s fighting career. The “Homecoming” fight is a tune up for De La Hoya’s September rematch agains Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The Golden Boy has had a long and title filled career, even when he gotted robbed against Felix Trinidad. If you are unable to watch the fight on HBO LosEstadosLatinos.com will be doing live round by round updates from the opening bell to the final call.
