Democrats Can’t make up their minds

Raleigh, NC.,_ As the clock ticks against them the two remaining Democrats continue to push their agendas at a battle weary electorate. While there may truly be Clinton and Bush fatigue around the country the Obama/Clinton dance of late has gotten old and less interesting. We know he is struggling with closing the deal and if he closes is he still perceived as the real deal? He has shown great composure under fire, mostly from his own side, but will America forgive his color? We know she is a fighter and a fierce infighter but if she wins the nomination will she and her angry at everybody crowd become fodder for the awaiting Republican cannons?

Superdelegates, most of whom are chosen because they have attained certain levels of leadership and hold high seats of power, show they are pretty much winnies when it comes to making a decision as well. They need to stand up and be counted instead of hoping they can count on the nominee to stand on their shoulders and in some cases with a foot on they throats.

The Republicans have once again found the path to successful outcomes in national elections. Let the Dems have at each other, watch for the fallout and capitalize on it. Barack Obama is a thoughtful and compassionate human being, who has learned so many lessons well. His fundraising machine and prowess alone are already the stuff of legend. He just needs to close the deal and no one can really help him on that but himself. The mistakes he made along the way with Latinos are one glaring reason he has not closed the deal. California Superdelegate Steven Ybarra reminds him every chance he gets that its about hechos not dichos with Latinos. It may be too late for them to help him seal the deal in the remaining states but if he does limp into Denver as the party’s standard bearer and has come to terms with his Latino gap or problem, he can turn it around. As for Hillary Clinton, give her all the credit in the world for having the gaul to hang in there when times were tough but also let it be known she and her campaign kicked off the race bait part of this campaign and if she was to steal victory from defeat’s jaws here, or even manage to George Bush the nomination from Obama the African American base may just stay home in November. It’s way overtime to decide.
