Pau and Manu lead high flying Latinos in NBA playoffs

San Antonio,_Watching Manu Ginobili and Fabricio Oberto from Argentina both playing for the San Antonio Spurs and on other nights seeing Pau Gasols from Spain leading the Lakers under the basket is a real and relatively new treat for Latino and all basketball fans. Latinos have really come into their own in the last handful of years and this bodes well for the fans and the sport in the years ahead. It wasn’t that many years ago that Latinos could only dream of the NBA. It took many years for the American sport to become popular and then to improve the level of play internationally until like the Europeans the Latin American countries and their ball players got to NBA caliber.
