Super Delegate Steven Ybarra wants $20 million for his support

Los Angeles, Ca., _ As a Democratic Party icon in California and across the country Steven Ybarra is never one to be shy. He was one of the few Latino voices who let it be known he did not appreciate Patti Doyle Solis being scapegoated for the failures of Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

He is known for saying what he means and meaning what he says so it comes as no surprise that when recently asked by the Denver Post what it would take by Obama or Clinton to win his support he quickly answered, “$20 million”. Ybarra, who is also a DNC member, makes it clear he wants a promise and commitment from the nominee to spend $20 million on Latino registration and GOTV. In the scheme of things that is not too much to ask for and since Latino insiders do realize that the party has never spent significant money on Latino voters it’s about time they do. It takes someone like Steve Ybarra to step up and make the call. LEL is glad he did and agrees with him that over a million Latino voters can be added to the voting rolls in key swing states. For someone once known as the “bad Ybarra” this guy has turned out pretty damned good! While he’s at it he can spread a little courage to others too.
