Cristian and Cheryl get down with Viennese Waltz and Samba
“Necesitamos un Latino que gane – llamen por favor” Cristian
Hollywood, Ca.,_ An injury to Cristian de la Fuente did not stop him and partner Cheryl Burke from scoring strong 9’s in their Viennese waltz. As in other nights the top dancer remains Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark, who Cristian beat last week. Her Jive was beautiful.
On this night Cristian and Cheryl were in sync and delivered on their first dance. The judges agreed as Carrie Ann said she enjoyed how he looked stressed out at the start but has that break thru moment where he picked up the steam with a nice rotation. Better mix leads to better marks. Bruno said “you lit the wow factor!”
Jason and Edyta were on again and very hot in their Paso Doble and scored 9’s as well. Marissa and Tony got it all in their first dance but left Carrie Ann unturned on by their performance of the rumba but still managed an 8-9-9 in scores.
Should be goodnight for them tomorrow but she gave the audience so much excitement every week of the competition.
In their bun shaking Samba performance Cristian and Cheryl did it one more time! Scoring 10-9-10 with the judges calling it “the rematch of the century”(Bruno10), “hotter than a chili pepper” (Glen-9) and “twinkle toes” (Carrie Ann 10). Afterwards Cristian said he felt great and will now have good memories of the Samba. He added “voten por favor, que toda la gente voten porque necesitamos que gane un Latino,” which was translated, “even though I am Latino vote for me.” Tonight the fans will make the decision on who makes it to the finals.
