Cristian de la Fuente queda como el Latino que puede ganar “Bailando con las estrellas”
Hollywood, Ca.,_ This was a sad night for Marissa Jaret Winokur who wowed the crowd with her bubbly and smiley ways. She was the best over achiever the show has seen. But this week was her turn to leave the stage and we thank her and celebrate her spirit and congratulate her on the new TV show she got out of the experience.
Cristian de la Fuente got his wish after this week’s top notch performance. He must have received tons of votes from people across the country but his appeal in Spanish for Latinos to rally behind him has had quite an impact as well. In a year when Latinos are breaking records for voting in primary elections they are also learning how to participate in supporting their favorite entertainers by phone, text and computer. That will be helpful in the finals. Fans remember how “national popularity” helped Emmitt Smith beat Mario Lopez who was head and shoulders above the football hall of famer when it came to dancing. “Que siguen votando y llamando para que gane un Latino” is Cristian’s wish. He will do his part and others must do theirs as well. We wish him well and congratulate him on another stellar performance.
