Democratic Presidential contest is over with Edward’s endorsement

Grand Rapids, Mi.,_ Today former candidate and 2004 VP John Edwards voiced his choice to win the Democratic presidential nod and that choice is Barack Obama. Edwards had been leaning Obama’s way for weeks and is convinced the party needs to come together behind its nominee now or let a possible victory escape into the gladly awaiting arms of John McCain. Following Hillary Clinton’s wide margin of victory in West Virginia this meaningful endorsement gives Obama legs with the legions of working people whose first choice was Edwards. Obama was all along expected to get Edwards support as his positions on issues were closer to Edwards who was highly critical of all things Washington, DC. This past Tuesday Obama scored points with Edwards when he joined the anti-poverty initiative begun by Edwards that has a goal to reduce poverty by 50% within ten years. Edwards is reported to have spoken with Hillary Clinton before making the announcement official. Look for Edwards to be a top contender for VP even though he also lacks experience or credentials that show his Latino ties. This endorsement will be known as the “final nail in the Clinton political coffin”. The Dems have to be hoping they can hold Hillary and her supporters especially Latino voters who in some cases went for her 4:1 over Barack.

  1. does this mean that bitchass Hillary will finally give it up and fall in line for the good of the party instead of being Mrs. Selfish and only caring about herself?
