Voto Latino hosts live blog prep for “State of Latinos: 2008 Colorado Town Hall”
Los Angeles, Ca., _ Voto Latino has been a leading voice in the biggest voter engagement year in Latino history. It was fitting that they chose to sponsor this live blog that was a prelude to the May 30 town hall meeting in Colorado. They were looking for themes for next week’s event that will be broadcast on Azteca America in early June. Maria Teresa Peterson, executive director of Voto Latino, said before the live blog, “We’re excited to be able to unite our voter engagement activities with the effort of State of Latinos: 2008 Colorado Town Hall meeting to create a comprehensive Latino agenda to present to our representatives at this important moment of our nation’s history.
