Hillary taking it to the streets in Puerto Rico

Hormigueros, PR,_ Last week we reported that thanks to Hillary Clinton Puerto Rico was getting a great deal of attention and respect for the first time in memory by presidential candidates.

The New York senator has a built in advantage for this week’s election due to her representing the formidable and influential Puerto Rican community of Nueva York. Clinton offered a spiritual tone in her remarks at Pabellon de la Victoria Evangelical Church as she spoke of “God’s blessing” and how with it “there isn’t anything we cannot do together if we stay committed and are not deterred by the setbacks that often fall in every life.”

She added that “if I had listened to those who had been talking over the last several months, we would not be having this campaign in Puerto Rico today.”

Clinton continues her quest as Obama’s delegate lead of 198 moves closer to clinching the nomination (he has 49 to go). Clinton also wrote a column in the New York Daily News where she clarified her mention of Bobby Kennedy’s assassination in 1968. We will take her at her word as Barack Obama did last week.
