Hillary – we didn’t want to hear it the first time
Sioux Falls, SD.,_ Hillary Clinton has run an up and down and up and down again campaign.
From presumptive front runner her campaign blew its first $150 million then came back with a vengeance and has gotten stronger even in a weakened position – until yesterday when she blew it wide open – the wrong way!
Her second “slip of the tongue” and no harm meaning comments were so far off base as to be off the planet!
There is below the belt and then there is below humane standards and that is where Hillary took herself with her unmentionable commentary on why she is still in the race.
We had already bought into her right as the first woman candidate to cross the finish line standing with dignity but we join the chorus saying Hillary step aside now!
It’s no longer about you alone and your comments were degrading to you, women, men and all your supporters. They were/are indefensible and more than inappropriate. It’s time to get off the stage before you tell us what you really want to say about the fall election after a campaign that no one blew but you, your husband and your entire campaign team. The shining light of your effort has been your daughter and we hope she is spared from the stupid language you chose to use, for the second time, to describe your extremely narrow and disrespectful path to the presidency. If a survey of Latinos were to include your remarks and Latinos thoughts and feelings about them, with the exception of a few die hard politicos, you would lose the vast majority of the votes you worked so many years to cultivate.
Now is the time for all smart Latinos to give Barack Obama a fair shake, get his fast learning self up to speed on what we want and need and wind up in his corner for the fall election and for the best future for all of us in our homeland of the free.
