Fidel Castro jumps on Obama over Blockade
Havana, Cuba,_ The ailing and former President of Cuba accused Barack Obama of planning the same fate for his island nation as every president since JFK.
The Republicans must hate the fact that Castro publicly criticized Obama and Karl Rove and others are probably looking for the links between Castro’s announcement and the Obama campaign.
Castro said that although, “Obama is the most advanced candidate in the presidential race,” he does not dare to call for a change in the U.S. policy that has been in effect since 1961. Castro also accused Obama of offering a continuing formula of hunger for Cuba during his speech to the Cuban American National Foundation in Miami. Obama’s main point is that his Cuban policy would be based on “libertad,” which is something Cubans on both sides of the line agree. Whatever the case we believe an Obama led foreign policy will find a just and fair way to settle the “gone far too long” Cuban crisis. Americans are hungry for Cohibas and other fine Cuban cigars and thirsty for its rum. Hasta luego.
