Bill Richardson will be tapped for an Obama role
Washington, DC,,_ While Democratic nominee elect Barack Obama is moving to unify his party and weigh the pros and cons of selecting Hillary Clinton or whomever else is on his short list, New Mexico’s Governor is sporting a beard.
Richardson, a savvy and experienced veteran of foreign and domestic experiences knows that Obama may give him full consideration but will likely settle for the right white guy he needs to balance his candidacy. If Obama becomes president Richardson will likely be offered and tapped for a world stage position in that administration. Obama will also look to him for leadership during the general election in getting the Latino support that has been so elusive to him from start to finish of the primary season. This is a crucial role in any event but especially this round due to McCain’s experience, ability and history of dealing with and garnering Latino votes as well as his savvy Latino team of advisors.
